He holds a bachelor's (2002), master's (2003), and Ph.D. (2007) in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship (2009) at the Environmental Control Laboratory of the Department of Chemical Engineering at UFSCar. He has experience in the area of Transport Phenomena and Industrial Processes, with an emphasis on Unit Operations and Equipment for Chemical Engineering. His main research interests include: Nanotechnology, Nanoparticle Filtration, Gas-Solid Separation, Solid-Liquid Separation, Transport Phenomena, and Unit Operations with a focus on Particulate Systems.
