She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1997), a master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2000) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2004), with research activities carried out for approximately 2 years at the Technology University of Delft (TUDelft) (Netherlands). She was a consultant for 4.5 years at the UNIEMP Institute in the area of Technology Transfer. She is currently Associate Professor III at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Uberlândia. She has experience in the area of Biotechnological Processes and Food Technology.
