She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2004), a master's and doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2007; 2014). She is currently an effective professor of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Food Engineering course at the Federal University of Uberlândia at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering on the Patos de Minas Campus. She works as Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Food Engineering and Coordinator of the Fermentative and Enzymatic Processes Laboratory at UFU. He has experience in the area of Chemical and Food Engineering, with an emphasis on industrial and agro-industrial Biotechnological Processes, working mainly on the following research topics: fermentative processes, enzymatic processes, coffee, beer, wine, microencapsulation, hydrolysis, flocculant yeasts and immobilizations.
